The City
Amsterdam is the capitol city of The Netherlands, and also its largest city. Because the Netherlands was one of the founding members of the Eurpoean Union, Amsterdam has risen to become one of the most important cities in Europe in which to do business.

Amsterdam is a known as a major center for the arts. There are more pieces of historic art per person in the city of Amsterdam than any other city in the world. The Netherlands was once home to Rembrandt and Vincent Van Gogh, and is home to museums dedicated to both artists as well many other museum collections around the city.

The city of Amsterdam is incredibly culturally diverse, and home to 177 different nationalities; making it the most multicultural city in the world.

The Mission
Corey & Kaylee O’Grady moved their family to Amsterdam in 2013 to be part of a disciple making, church planting team (Project 514). With less than one percent of the people in Amsterdam claiming to be followers of Jesus, the mission is clear – make disciples who make disciples, and plant churches that plant churches. Their team has been involved in the community, meeting people, sharing the gospel, establishing CityHouse Coffee & Books, partnering with Not For Sale (an anti-human trafficking organization), and maintaining a faithful gospel presence in the city. They are looking toward launching their first public worship gatherings as New City Church in early 2015.

Amsterdam Mission Trip – 2015

  • Projected Dates: March 24 – April 1, 2015

On this trip, we will be partnering with the O’Gradys, Project 514, and the newly launched New City Church. In addition to helping with their CityHouse Coffee & Books, learning about life on mission in another country, experiencing some of what the city has to offer, and potentially helping with an awareness event for Not For Sale, we will be helping New City Church prepare, promote, and put on an Easter event for their community.

You can find out more about each of the organizations, through their websites:
