For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you. 4 For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, 5 so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. –Romans 12:3-5

We all long to be part of a family, one that is loving, that welcomes us in, that seeks the best for us. Every family is comprised of individuals, but as a unit, they are something greater, a sum of the parts. When they act as that whole, you get to see each one flourish individually. They bring out things in each other that only family can do.

This is even more true when it comes to the family that is the body of Christ. Each person is a part of a whole, each having a role to play in that body. At Life, this is what being a covenant member is about. Covenant membership provides for greater care, greater accountability, greater discipleship.

If you are interested in learning more about covenant membership here at Life, we have a New Members Workshop upcoming on Saturday, March 19, from 9 AM to 12 PM. Come take your next step and join us to understand covenant membership, what roles it plays in the life of a healthy body, and get any answers to questions you may have about it. Refreshments will be served.
