Moving on up!

For the last four years Life Community has called Lincoln Hancock Community School home on Sunday mornings.  From September 22, 2008 until now we have met in the cafeteria of this historic school to worship.  In the last couple of years we have had to move our kids ministries around multiple times to make room for them and last March we had to add another worship opportunity to make more room for all of the people that God is bringing through our doors.

While we are excited about what God has done, we are even more excited to see what God is going to do, which is why we are moving to Sterling Middle School on September 23, 2011. In other words, we are moving so that we can better facilitate the growth that we know God is going to bring.  This move to Sterling will allow us to bring everyone back into one worship opportunity and grow to 400 before having to add another one.  Their facility includes an auditorium with hundreds of seats and a larger stage surface which will give us the space we need to continue to grow as well as expand our creative arts.  In addition we will be moving our kids out of the 1st and 2nd level foyers at Lincoln Hancock into a 2,000 sqft room, complete with new equipment for all our Life Kids environments, including our newest environment, The Garden for 3-5 year olds.  This new space will allow our Life Kids ministry to continue to grow as well as providing an incredible opportunity for our children to learn about the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the most relevant way possible.

That being said, we have never been more excited about what God is doing at Life Community Church then we are right now.  It is evident that God is doing great things in our city and through out New England and He will continue this great work with or with out us.  Stepping out by faith to move to Sterling is one of the ways we are telling God, we choose with!

So if you’re a part of Life Community, we want to challenge you to use this opportunity to share with your friends and family exactly what God is doing in your life and in the lives of those around you, and invite them to join us.  If you’ve never attended Life but you’re looking got get your family in church or just want to connect with a community of people to learn more about Jesus and what the Gospel is all about, now is the time. We want to invite you to join us on September 23 at the Sterling Middle School as we begin the next chapter of our story!

And don’t miss our moving out party on Sunday, September 16th, following the 11:00 worship opportunity!  While we are moving stuff out we are going to have music, hotdogs, cotton candy and peanuts, and even a bounce house and balloon animals for the kiddos!
